Acquiring fluency in another language is a journey of a thousand steps. However, as a student you don’t need to worry about the goal off in the distance. You only need to focus on the next step, because that is the best way to reach your goal. When you only focus on taking the next step the task no longer seems so difficult and with every step you can celebrate your achievement and gain confidence in your abilities. This makes the following steps even easier and you will cross the finish line a lot sooner than you had expected.The most important step, however, is the first one. It may seem the scariest or the most difficult, but it is that first little step that makes anything possible.
外国語を習得することは、長い長い旅のようなものです。しかしながら、はるか先のゴールを気にする必要はありません。目の前の一歩に集中することが、目標を達成する最善策なのです。ただ次の一歩を踏み出すことだけを考えれば、物事は容易く進みます。
