Positions
We have two types of instructors at OneUp; full-time instructors and independent contractors. We are currently looking for friendly, motivated and professional independent contractors. The independent contractor position allows for a flexible schedule where the instructor can choose their lesson hours in advance based on their availability. We also offer some incentives to our independent contractors such as preparation and weekend bonuses.
*There is a possibility of full-time work in the future should an instructor show he/she has a good, professional work ethic, is a team player and can offer fun and informative lessons at a consistently high standard.

Requirements
- Applicants must be native English speakers.
- They must have at least one year of teaching experience.
- Applicants must currently reside in the Kanto region or be willing to relocate.
*Interviews will be conducted at one of our school locations. We, therefore, regret that we are unable to accept applications from overseas. - Applicants should hold a 3 or 4-year degree from an accredited university.
Preference will be given to those who:
- are proficient in Japanese
- are able to work on weekends and 2-3 evenings during the week
- have teaching credentials
