I really like to visit my hometown, but it would be very special if one day my whole family could come to Japan for a family reunion instead! Of all the people in my family, so far only my eldest brother and my dad have visited Japan. They had a wonderful time and would love to come back. If we did have a family reunion in Japan, I would want to rent a traditional Japanese home to stay in. I would like to book out an entire house so that we could all stay together, so as to make the most of our short time together.

In the past, finding such accommodation might have been difficult, but now thanks to apps like AirBnB I don’t think it would be so difficult. There are so many places I would like to take my family to in Japan! One place that comes to mind is Odaiba. This year I went to the teamLab Borderless, which is a digital art museum, for my birthday and I was really blown away by it. I think that all of my family members would really enjoy it so I would love to take them there. Also, my dad and eldest brother love cars so taking them to the Toyota museum and showroom would be a lot of fun. I really hope they can all come to Japan one day!

Belinda

Vocabulary

instead (adverb) ? as an alternative or substitute
entire (adjective) ? with no part left out; whole
blow away (phrasal verb) ? to really impress, usually in a positive way

About once a year, I head back to Australia to spend time with family and friends and eat some of my favorite foods.
